Veneers offer patients a way to improve the appearance of their smiles. This procedure involves attaching thin, custom-made tooth-like covers to the front of a tooth.
Veneers are an excellent choice for fixing discoloured, worn-down, chipped, or broken teeth. They can also be used to correct the appearance of slightly misaligned teeth or gaps between teeth.
Veneer Fitting Procedure
The Veneer fitting process is much like other Restorative Dentistry procedures and may involve multiple visits to our practice. The first step is planning a course of treatment. During this step, we discuss in detail how you want your teeth to look after attaching the Veneers.
We then take an impression of your teeth that is sent out to a laboratory for Veneer production. Your teeth are teeth are lightly texturised to prepare them for bonding the Veneers.
We schedule another appointment to fit the Veneers. We test them with a temporary bonding material to ensure they look as you expect. If you are satisfied, we attach them to your teeth with a permanent dental adhesive for an instant makeover.
We have been coming to this dental practice for over 25 years and during that time have received first class treatment in a friendly & professional environment. Many thanks.
I registered at the practice as an NHS patient and I was very pleasantly surprised. Friendly receptionist and the dentist Dr Sam Protty was brilliant (and calming). He told me straight away what is the issue with my front teeth what other dentists failed to identify in the past 5 years.
